WELCOME TO ST THOMAS'

SEPTEMBER 2024

We are so pleased that your child will be joining us this year!

We are looking forward to getting to know our new children and their families too.  Starting school is an exciting time and we will do everything we cann to ensure that your child gets the best possibel start in school and feels settled adn reassured as they start in school with us.

We will start to get to know those children who are joining our school from St Thomas' Nursery over the summer term, as they join us in the school hall for their lunches each day.  In addition to this, to help all our new starters settle in to school, we have arranged a number of sessions when they can come and spend time in their new classroom.  They can meet the staff and the other children who will become their new friends and the parents can start to make connections with each other adn with our school and teh staff team. Mrs Mason and Miss Cunningham can't wait to welcome the children and families in!

The first day at school will be Wednesday 5th September 2024.  We will have a staggered start on that first day to help children arrive happily and be welcomed by our staff.  After the first day, the children will be in school full time as we find that this is more helpful for the children and for many parents too.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all into our school family.
