SCHOOL DAY
REMINDER: Change to School Finish Times in Autumn Term 2023
School will finish at the new time of 3.25pm starting in September 2023. This in order for us to meet with Government guidance that children should be in school for 32.5 hours as a minimum each week.
Be on time before 5 to 9!
It is important that children are in school on time to access all their learning. Playground gates are opened at 8.30am. Our school doors open earlier than the official start of the school day at 8.45am to enable a calm beginning to the day for all children. Children who are in school early access some 'Morning Work' activities in their classroom which helps to get the day off to a good start with learning. The official start of the school day is 8.55 when doors are closed and registers are taken and the school day finishes at 3.25pm. This equates to 32.5 hours in school each week.
It is important that your child is in school before the classroom doors close at 8.55am.
