Summer Term message from Mrs Eaves:

Welcome back to school following our Easter holiday!

This half term there will be a big focus on phonics ready for the Phonics Screener Check in June.  If you have any questions regarding these, please do not hesitate and come and see me.

This half term in our DT lesson the children will be learning about where our food comes from - either a plant or an animal.  They will also learn how to prepare food - by either slicing, chopping or grating.

We will also be learning about mass and using balance scales, and learn about capacity and volume.

Please have a look at the fridge words linked below. These words are based on the vocabulary we are exploring within our topic and science lessons. How many of these can you learn?

Please take a look at the documents below so you know exactly what we will be learning this term.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask - I am happy to help!

PE in the sunshine

We love to be active and what better way to do PE than out in the sunshine!  We have been  developing  our fundamental movement skills. We can balance, throw, hop, jump, catch, run and skip!
